Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to provide 1:1 online instruction to North American students. You will schedule 50‑minute sessions, prepare age‑appropriate materials, and give feedback after each class.

The role is an independent contractor position with pay at $20 USD per class plus incentives. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree, have 3+ years teaching K‑12 ELA/ESL/EFL, and can commit to 20+ hours weekly from a home setup with reliable internet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
