Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Portland is seeking a Multi Site Security Officer to cover multiple sites in the metro area. The role is full-time and requires flexibility to work any day with at least two shifts. The officer will patrol, monitor systems, control access and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Compensation starts at $22.00–$23.00 per hour, plus benefits. Applicants must be 18+, hold a HS diploma or GED, and be able to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises to identify security risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying IDs and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances and emergencies.
• Enforce security protocols and company rules for premises and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities and security breaches.

**Must be available any day, at least two shifts & will be stationed at various site locations in the Portland Metro area**

Wage: $22.00-$23.00/Hour

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Objectives

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
