Job summary

One Medical in Virginia seeks a Float Medical Receptionist (Flex Member Support Specialist) to be the first point of contact for patients and to ensure a smooth in-office experience across multiple offices. You will steward the lobby, manage patient intake, and coordinate same-day scheduling within a patient-focused team.

You will use strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving to remove barriers to care while supporting providers and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in collaborative, feedback-driven teams.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, manage intake and scheduling workflows.
• Handle check-in/check-out and insurance verification tasks.
• Support office providers with ad hoc requests and team problem-solving.
• Navigate Slack, G-suite, Zoom and 1Life EMR for daily tasks.
• Maintain clean, welcoming front desk spaces and office appearance.
