Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Float Medical Receptionist (Flex Member Support Specialist) based in Mesa, AZ. You will be the first contact for patients, handling check-in/check-out and scheduling while ensuring a welcoming, on-brand lobby experience and seamless patient flow.

You will collaborate with practice staff, supporting in-office providers and teammates with a service-focused mindset. A strong communicator with empathy will thrive in our dynamic, feedback-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams
• Proficiency with computer technology and multiple software systems

Responsibilities

• Provide in-office reception and patient support, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out and scheduling
• Verify insurance where needed and manage simple billing/support tasks
• Assist providers and team with ad hoc requests and problem solving
• Master Office tech tools (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, EMR 1Life) for daily tasks
• Maintain lobby appearance and office organization, restocking supplies and opening/closing duties
