Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Flex Member Support Specialist to be an ambassador for patients, removing barriers to care and ensuring an exceptional in-office experience. You will be the first contact for feedback and support multiple offices across a market.

You will engage in front-of-house duties, learn the tech stack (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR), and collaborate with providers and operations staff. This full-time in-person role is based in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet and using multiple software systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid in-office experience.
• Handle front of house duties including check in/out, insurance verification, and paperwork tasks.
• Contribute to team development through rounding, team huddles and problem solving.
• Master our technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR) to interact with team and patients.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain look and organization of spaces.
