Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an outdoor Vehicle Fleet Associate in Kansas City, MO. You will oversee the entry and exit of vehicles in the rental fleet, perform pre-delivery and post-use inspections, and manage license plates and registration paperwork to ensure accurate records and smooth customer experiences.

You will help prepare newer vehicles for customer rental and assist in moving vehicles to retail lots or auctions, contributing to efficient fleet operations with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong attention to detail with effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work outdoors or in a mechanical environment with moderate noise.
• 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• In this outdoor role, oversee entry and exit of vehicles within the rental fleet.
• Conduct pre-delivery and post-use inspections.
• Install and remove license plates and coordinate registration paperwork, stickers, and keys.
• Ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare newer vehicles for customer rental and support vehicle transitions to used car lots.
