Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Virginia is seeking a hands-on associate to manage the entry and exit of vehicles in the rental fleet, conducting pre-delivery and post-use inspections, and coordinating license plates, registrations, stickers, and keys for smooth customer experiences.

You will prepare newer vehicles across multiple makes/models for rental, support fleet transitions to retail or auctions, and help position vehicles on the lot to keep operations efficient and accurate.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong attention to detail with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Ability to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry and exit of vehicles within the rental fleet.
• Conduct pre-delivery and post-use inspections.
• Install and remove license plates; coordinate paperwork and keys.
• Prepare newer vehicles across makes/models for rental.
• Support vehicle transitions to retail/auctions and other buyers.
• Maintain organized movement and positioning of vehicles on the lot.
