Avis Budget Group in Jacksonville, FL is hiring for an onsite Vehicle Prep Associate to support fleet readiness and customer experience. You will inspect incoming and outgoing rentals, document thoroughly, and prepare vehicles across brands for rental.

This role offers on-the-job training, benefits, and the chance to work outdoors in a fast-paced team environment. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; on-site presence and shift flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong attention to detail with good verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and basic data entry.
• Ability to work outdoors near a mechanical shop with moderate noise.
• Willingness to work various shifts.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around the lot.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry and exit of vehicles within the rental fleet, including pre-delivery and post-use inspections.
• Install and remove license plates; coordinate vehicle registration paperwork, stickers, and keys; keep records accurate.
• Prepare newer vehicles for rental across multiple makes/models and support transitions to used-car lots or auctions.
• Support organized vehicle movement on the lot to maintain efficient operations and fleet accuracy.
