• Eight (8) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in vehicle and equipment repair, or experience in heavy equipment parts management, or experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control or as an automotive service manager.
• Three (3) years of which must have been in a general supervisory capacity.
• Substitution: college coursework may substitute for four (4) years of required non-supervisory experience.
• Substitution: Associate’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of required non-supervisory experience.
• Substitution: One (1) year of experience as a Transportation Equipment Supervisor 1 may substitute for required supervisory experience.
• Travel may be required; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.
