Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Driver Training Specialist in Shelbyville, TN to drive the development, execution, and continuous improvement of driver-training programs. You will provide expert guidance, co-facilitate sessions with senior leaders, and build strong partnerships with regional teams to improve learning outcomes.

You will deliver classroom and virtual training, monitor VR usage, and support regional centers with change initiatives.

Qualifications

Current interstate CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.
3 years’ experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position within the last 7 years.
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
No DUI/DWI/OUI or reckless driving in the last 10 years.
No preventable DOT accidents in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

Develops and applies best-practice guidance to training plans and stakeholder needs.
Co-facilitates Driver Trainee training with senior leaders and provides participant feedback.
Delivers training across Regional Training Centers using classroom and virtual modalities.
Ensures One Best Way compliance and aligns Fleet Development content with policies.
Supports change initiatives and trains associates through various delivery methods.
