Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced driver training specialist to support Driver Trainees and Fleet Development leadership in delivering high-quality classroom and virtual training. You will facilitate content, perform audits, and drive change initiatives in multiple regional centers, while modeling Walmart values.

Ideal candidates have a Class A CDL with Hazmat, 3+ years of tractor-trailer experience, and a commitment to safety, ethics, and continuous improvement in a large, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Current holder of an interstate (Class A) Commercial Drivers License with Hazmat endorsement.
• 3 years’ experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the past 7 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years; no serious violations in the last 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI or reckless driving in the last 10 years; no preventable DOT accidents in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Delivers expert guidance to Driver Trainees and regional teams to develop and improve training content.
• Facilitates audits and ensures One Best Way compliance across Fleet Development centers.
• Partners with stakeholders to implement business solutions and monitor progress and results.
• Hires, trains, and mentors associates to support a culture of belonging and continuous improvement.
