Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Tucson, AZ to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet including light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts.

You will work with a high degree of independence, use diagnostic tools, and maintain thorough vehicle documentation. The role requires 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and ASE certifications in brakes, electrical, and heavy-duty systems.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic/air brake systems, emissions and after-treatment repairs, driveline and engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding.

Quick Look

• Work Days:Monday - Friday




• Start Time: 10:00




• End Time: 18:30

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventative maintenance and repairs


• Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to complete preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided)


• Leverage and grow your skills working on a diverse fleet automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts


• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed


• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, vehicle records, parts reconciliation, and checklists) while adhering to all safety standards and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older


• Valid U.S. driver's license


• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without an accommodation)


• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation)


• Position requires the following certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty
