Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Cookeville, TN to keep our fleet of trucks, vans, and forklifts in top condition. You will perform PMs and repairs with independence, diagnose using modern tools, and maintain accurate vehicle records to ensure on-time delivery of PepsiCo brands.

The role emphasizes safety, on-the-job training, and a fast-paced environment. 5-day work week with starts around 11am and shifts extending to 7:30pm.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. driver''s license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and reach/lift/carry/push/pull as needed
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty
• 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, emissions repairs, driveline, engine repairs, diagnostics, and welding

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with independence
• Use diagnostic tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs
• Handle advanced diagnostics and repairs across light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists)
• Support safety-first culture by following standards and responding to service calls

• End Time: 7:30pm - 2nd

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with a high degree of independence


• Use leading-edge tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided)


• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a diverse fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts)


• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists) using provided tools


• Support our safety-first culture by following all safety standards and procedures—and answering service calls as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older


• Valid U.S. driver's license


• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without an accommodation)


• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation)


• Position requires the following certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty


• Position requires at least 1 year of experience or training in: hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding
