Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a fleet maintenance technician in Wichita, KS to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment ensuring branding products reach communities on time.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, use diagnostics platforms (training provided), and work on a variety of vehicles including trucks, vans, and forklifts while maintaining thorough documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old and valid U.S. driver's license.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and reach/carry/push/pull as needed.
• Certified in Brakes, ASE Electrical and ASE Heavy Duty.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with independence.
• Utilize technology and programs for diagnostics; training provided.
• Work on diverse fleet including light/heavy trucks, vans and forklifts.
• Diagnose failures, disassemble/repair/reassemble parts as required.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records, work orders, parts reconciliation and checklists.

Quick Look

• Pay: $31.00 per hour

• Location: Wichita, KS

• Work Days: Monday-Friday

• Start Time: 4:00 PM

• End Time: 12:30 AM

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventative maintenance and repairs
• Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to complete preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided)
• Leverage and grow your skills working on a diverse fleet automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, vehicle records, parts reconciliation, and checklists) while adhering to all safety standards and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without an accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation)
• Position requires the following certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty
• Position requires at least 1 year of experience or training in: hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding
