Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Waterloo, IA is seeking a full-time Fleet Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

You’ll work with independence on preventative maintenance, use modern diagnostics (training provided), and handle a wide range of vehicles including light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts. Expect hands-on training and safety-focused operations.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (with/without accommodation).
• Must be able to reach, lift, carry, push and pull (with/without accommodation).
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic/air brake systems, aftertreatment and emissions repairs, driveline, engine repairs, diagnostic platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with a high degree of independence.
• Use leading-edge tech and programs for preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided).
• Work on a diverse fleet of autos, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts.
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, records, parts reconciliation, checklists) and follow safety standards.

Quick Look

• Pay: $30 per hour

• Location:Waterloo, IA

• Work Days:Monday-Friday

• Start Time: 6:00 am

• End Time: 2:30 pm

What You’ll Do

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventative maintenance and repairs
• Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to complete preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided)
• Leverage and grow your skills working on a diverse fleet automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, vehicle records, parts reconciliation, and checklists) while adhering to all safety standards and procedures
