Job summary

You will diagnose electrical and refrigeration systems, document work orders, and mentor junior technicians as needed. The role requires hands-on proficiency with heavy-duty vehicles and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on heavy fleet vehicles
• Knowledge of inspections and regulatory compliance
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) / Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned tolerances.
• Perform annual FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Perform quality preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, reefer units and related equipment.
• Diagnose faults and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems and HVAC.
• Document all work on work orders and mentor junior technicians.
