Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Service Writer to support the Equipment Department in Odessa, TX. The role involves scheduling inspections and repairs, tracking work orders, invoicing, and data entry for completed repairs.

Responsibilities

• Work Order Management: Initiate and manage repair orders, input technician notes, review for accuracy, and obtain approval for repairs on company-owned assets above designated thresholds before finalizing.
• Scheduling: Schedule vendor repair appointments and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Database Management: Ensure the vehicle and equipment database is current, tracking daily vehicle mileage, hours, and heavy equipment usage.
• Records Maintenance: Update repair and maintenance records with the latest services, inspections and preventive maintenance (PM) status.
• Coordination with R&M Personnel: Work with the Repair & Maintenance team to ensure timely servicing and communicate planned maintenance with vendors and job sites.
• Monitoring Progress: Track the progress of actual versus planned maintenance and repairs for company assets.

Job Overview

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Fleet Service Writer to join our Equipment Department. The Service Writer will support the Fleet Supervisor by assisting in the daily operations of the service department. Key responsibilities include scheduling equipment inspections and repairs, tracking maintenance work orders, invoicing, and performing related data entry for all completed repairs. Our Fleet Operations is located at: 14621 I-20 Odessa, TX 79763 Target hourly wage for this role is $24-28/hr depending on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities
