Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a Parts Coordinator to support the Fleet Department at our Belton, TX facility. You will manage inventory, place orders, and ensure timely material flow for vehicle and equipment maintenance, while handling procurement and reporting across PSC units.

Responsibilities include maintaining min/max inventory, negotiating vendor contracts, managing warranties, and trainingPSC parts staff.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in parts inventory management, preferably in fleet/auto repair.

• Controls min/max parts inventory for shop and field locations.
• Negotiates parts/tire/maintenance contracts with PSC vendors with National Accounts support.
• Manages parts warranty process with vendors and ensures PSC credits/refunds.
• Keeps parts room clean and organized and communicates with internal departments and suppliers.
• Ensures logistics challenges are met to minimize downtime for field technicians.
• Oversees training and development of PSC parts personnel.
• Manages standardized parts master in the Parts system (TBA).
• Establishes min/max levels for inventory on hand.
• Handles all parts for Techs in shop or field.
• Maintains safe, clean parts room environment.

Job Overview:

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Fleet Department by managing inventory, ordering parts, and ensuring the timely and efficient flow of materials necessary for vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair within our Belton, TX facility. Carries out various administrative and fleet management tasks including parts management, procurement, process implementation, GPS telematics device management, and other systems deployed across Primoris Services Corporation. Generates, distributes, and follows up on scheduled reports related to parts purchases, inventory, and explanations for program exceptions. Ensures standardization of the parts activities across multiple business units / geographic regions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees the parts ordering, procurement, inventory management, warranty, and distribution of PSC repair parts, shop supplies, and maintenance parts for all business units; field and in shop.


• Controls all min/max parts inventory for shop and field locations


• Negotiates, with the assistance of the National Accounts management, all parts/tire/maintenance contracts with the PSC preferred vendors.


• Manages the parts warranty process with all vendors and ensures that PSC parts credits/refunds have been collected.


• Keeps assigned parts room in a clean and manageable order


• Ensures that logistical challenges are met in the field to minimize downtime and efficiencies for PSC field and resident technicians.


• Oversees training and development of his/her PSC parts personnel


• Management of standardized parts master in Parts management system (TBA)


• Establishment of min / max of parts on hand for his/her inventory


• Handles all parts for Techs in the shop or field


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts room environment.


• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers.


• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in parts inventory management, preferably in a fleet or automotive repair environment.


• Experience in parts sales or Auto or Equipment sales


• Ability to follow instructions and processes


• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
