CraneWorks is seeking a Service Manager to oversee maintenance and readiness of the equipment fleet. You will hire and motivate a team of shop and field Service Technicians, drive efficiency, and ensure timely repairs to maximize fleet availability.

Responsibilities include managing repair work orders, maintaining service records in the CMMS, coordinating with branch management and sales, and upholding safety and quality standards across both shop and on-site environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in repair and maintenance of related equipment.
• Experience with CMMS, particularly Rentlman/Wynne Systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of work planning, scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Planning and management experience.

Responsabilités

• Manages repair and maintenance of company owned and customer equipment.
• Drives fleet readiness via a robust tagging system for rent ready equipment.
• Stays up to date on industry changes and training relevant to fleet.
• Responsible for timely and effective repair work.
• Documents customer damage and bills work orders promptly.
• Works with branch manager and sales to maximize fleet utilization.
• Performs quality control checks.
• Maintains service records via CMMS and manages work orders.
• File warranty claims in a timely fashion.
