Job summary

Walmart Transportation seeks an Operations Manager, Fleet Safety to lead safety initiatives for the private fleet and mentor a field team in best practices for safe, compliant operations.

You will identify safety risks, conduct driver training, and oversee incident reporting and investigations to ensure timely corrective actions. Expect strong regulatory knowledge, DOT/FMCSA familiarity, and a focus on continuous improvement within a large retail network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety management, environmental science, traffic safety, transit safety, or related area.
• 2 years’ experience in safety within supply chain, retail, or related area or 4 years’ experience in traffic safety within supply chain, retail, or related area.
