Job summary

Walmart seeks an Operations Manager, Fleet Safety to lead a team focused on world-class safety and efficient operations for Walmart Transportation. You will identify risks, train drivers, supervise adherence to safety protocols, and manage investigations with OSHA-compliant reporting.

Preferred candidates will have knowledge of DOT/FMCSA/PHMSA regulations, vehicle maintenance, and strong communication with drivers, suppliers, and associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety management or related field; 2+ years in safety within supply chain/retail.
• 4 years’ experience in traffic safety within supply chain/retail or related area.
• 2 years’ experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., TPM) within supply chain or transportation maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks and conduct driver safety training.
• Supervise team and enforce safety protocols; accountability.
• Lead accident/injury reporting and investigations; ensure prompt action.
• Stay up-to-date with OSHA regulations and reporting criteria; maintain safe work environment.
