Job summary

Southland Industries seeks a Fleet Safety Manager to lead and optimize the company’s fleet safety program across service vehicles, delivery trucks, and project equipment. You will champion data-driven drivers safety initiatives, telematics insights, and leadership accountability to embed safe practices in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in fleet safety, transportation, or safety management required.
• Knowledge of driver safety practices and telematics systems required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company-wide fleet safety program.
• Own telematics systems and analyze driver behavior trends.
• Develop driver score programs and accountability programs.
• Deliver driver safety training and ensure compliance.
• Develop and drive recognition program.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and enforce fleet safety policies in partnership with local DivisionField Ops teams.
• Partner with fleet teams to ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Partner with Fleet Manager to research and recommend vehicle safety features and equipment.
• Track and report safety KPIs to leadership.
• Collaborate across operations, safety, HR and Risk Management
