Atlas Van Lines in Evansville, IN is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Safety Assistant to support fleet safety and compliance operations. You will assist with monitoring safety programs, reviewing documentation, and supporting internal teams, agents, and van operators in meeting safety and regulatory requirements.

This role uses safety program tools and internal systems to ensure information is accurate and well-documented, with a focus on data handling, customer service, and deadline-driven

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data and documentation.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems.
• Ability to follow established procedures and manage routine tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and responsive customer service to department team members, agents, and van operators
• Assist with reviewing information in safety program portals and help confirm required communications have been received and standards are being followed
• Apply basic knowledge of applicable FMCSRs when performing assigned tasks
• Support team members with daily safety and compliance-related activities as needed
• Assist with tracking and maintaining accurate records, files, and documentation
• Demonstrate flexibility by helping with a variety of tasks to support department operations
