Job summary

Atlas Van Lines is seeking a detail‑oriented Fleet Safety Assistant to support our safety and compliance operations. You’ll help monitor safety programs, review documentation, and assist with daily tasks for our safety team, agents, and van operators.

This role emphasizes precise data handling, timely recordkeeping, and responsive customer service in a structured, regulatory environment that values accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data and documentation.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems.
• Ability to follow established procedures in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and responsive customer service to department team members, agents, and van operators.
• Assist with reviewing information in safety program portals and confirm communications have been received and standards are being followed.
• Apply basic knowledge of FMCSRs when performing assigned tasks.
• Support team members with daily safety and compliance activities as needed.
• Assist with tracking and maintaining accurate records, files, and documentation.
• Demonstrate flexibility by helping with a variety of tasks to support department operations.
