Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Fleet Engineering RCA Leader for Machine Head to own wing-to-wing RCAs on major components such as main shaft, bedplate, gearbox, and bearings. You will drive root cause analysis using 8D, Lean and Six Sigma, partner across functions, and deliver robust, scalable solutions to improve availability and reliability for customers.

You will lead RCA activities from containment to resolution, manage budget and procurement for RCAs, and mentor junior RCA leaders while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Evidence of leading and supporting mechanical RCAs (8D/Shainin/Lean/Six Sigma).
• Experience in wind industry or similar high-reliability sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own wing-to-wing RCAs on Machine Head components and drive root cause analysis to timely closure.
• Define fast-track containment and coordinate with Fleet Performance, NPI, Field, Sourcing and Quality teams.
• Track RCA KPIs (On Time Delivery) and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Lead RCA budgeting, PO workflow, and documentation within Fleet Engineering.
