Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks an Electrical Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Lead Engineer to own the investigation and resolution process for our critical power generation assets, maximizing fleet availability and minimizing downtime.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and implement data-backed solutions for complex electrical failures, with clear communication to leadership and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience supporting electrical systems or troubleshooting field issues.
• Willingness to travel to wind farms and climb turbines.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End RCA Ownership: Lead the full lifecycle of RCA projects from identification to final resolution.
• Technical & Operational Leadership: Drive technical investigations while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Fleet Performance, NPI Engineering, Field Services, Sourcing, and Quality.
• Team Coordination: Define resources for RCA task forces and manage needs proactively.
• Performance Metrics & Reliability: Track KPIs and lead initiatives to reduce failure rates.
• Supplier Engagement: Lead discussions with vendors with Sourcing.
• Financial & Administrative Stewardship: Manage budgets and procurement workflows for resolution plans.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Deliver clear updates to leadership and customers throughout the project.
