Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking a Fleet Engineering RCA Leader for Machine Head to own RCAs end-to-end, drive root-cause analyses, and deliver systemic improvements across the fleet. You will partner with Performance, NPI Engineering, Field, Sourcing, Parts and Quality to implement robust solutions that boost availability and reliability.

The role requires a strong RCA toolkit (Lean, 8D, Shainin, Six Sigma), deep mechanical knowledge, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering required.
• 10+ years leading/supporting mechanical RCAs (8D/Lean/Six Sigma).
• Experience in wind industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own wing-to-wing RCAs for Machine Head mechanical issues, guiding root-cause analyses.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve RCAs and reduce major component upgrades.
• Define containment, track RCA KPIs, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior RCA team leaders and manage RCA budgets and PO workflows.
