Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Mechanical engineer to lead fleet-level RCAs for Machine Head components, driving root cause resolution and systemic improvements. You will own RCAs end-to-end, partner across Fleet Performance, NPI Engineering, Field, Sourcing and Quality, and guide teams to prevent rework while improving availability, reliability and customer trust.

The role requires 10+ years in mechanical RCAs, wind industry experience, and travel ~10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
• Min 10 years of leading or supporting mechanical RCAs using 8D, Shainin, Lean, Six Sigma or similar.
• Experience in the wind industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own wing-to-wing RCAs on Machine Head mechanical systems.
• Lead, execute, and resolve RCAs to drive timely, robust resolutions.
• Define fast track containment for RCAs.
• Collaborate with Fleet Performance, NPI Engineering, Field, Sourcing and Quality.
• Monitor RCA KPIs, especially On Time Delivery.
• Mentor junior RCA team leaders.
