Empower Rental Group seeks a Fleet Performance Manager at its Franklin Support Center to enhance fleet productivity, utilization, and financial performance across all branches and regions.

The role focuses on fleet strategy, asset deployment, transportation efficiency, and forward-looking planning, partnering with regional managers, procurement, sales, service, and operations leadership to maximize return on fleet assets.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in equipment rental or fleet management.
• Experience influencing operations across multiple locations or markets.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial data and drive improvements.
• Proven decision-making in a fast-moving operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet utilization, on-rent performance, idle time, and productivity across branches, regions, equipment categories, and assets.
• Develop actionable recommendations to relocate, sell, or reposition underutilized equipment; optimize fleet deployment.
• Coordinate with regional/brach managers to balance fleet availability with customer demand and resolve competing equipment needs.
• Analyze fleet transfers based on demand, rental rates, transport costs, opportunities, and return; track results to improve utilization and revenue.
