Job summary
Empower Rental Group is seeking a Fleet Performance Manager to optimize the company fleet across all branches and regions from the Support Center in Franklin, TN. The role focuses on asset deployment, transportation efficiency, and proactive fleet planning to maximize returns.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in fleet or operations management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence decisions across multiple locations.
Qualifications
- Seven (7+) years of experience in equipment rental, fleet management, transportation, operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience managing across multiple locations or markets is preferred.
- Strong understanding of fleet utilization, asset deployment, and rental economics.
Responsibilities
- Monitor fleet utilization, idle time, and revenue across branches and regions.
- Develop actionable recommendations to relocate or reposition underutilized equipment.
- Collaborate with Regional/Branch Managers to balance fleet availability with customer demand and priorities.
- Evaluate fleet transfers based on demand, rental rates, and costs; track results to improve utilization and revenue.
- Plan placement of incoming fleet based on utilization, market conditions, and upcoming projects.
- Analyze fleet data to identify trends and provide actionable plans to leadership.
