Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a detail‑oriented leader to optimize regional fleet performance and profitability. You will drive KPI-based decision making, coordinate fleet movements, and lead equipment selection to meet business goals across multiple branches.

The role requires strong analytics, proficiency with MS Excel/PowerPoint/Power BI, and experience with bulk equipment lines. Travel is expected; we offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required plus 3-5 years of financial or fleet management in the equipment rental industry.
Extensive Experience (5 years+) with Specialty Bulk Business Lines.
Analytically proficient at driving progress using key rental fleet metrics.
Strong teamwork and influencer capabilities to implement solutions.
Safety, reliability, and ownership culture are emphasized.

Responsibilities

Foster a positive work environment within branches, encouraging accountability and teamwork.
Implement fleet utilization KPIs and decision frameworks to measure asset efficiency.
Drive profitability through effective fleet utilization within the Region.
Coordinate fleet movement between locations to increase profitable utilization.
Lead the selection and approval of rental equipment to meet business goals.
Analyze time utilization and rate achievement to justify fleet needs.
Review capital equipment requisitions to secure fleet efficiently.
Work with operations to meet customer needs and expectations.
Promote continual improvement across business lines.
Coordinate disposal and refurbishment with VP and Regional Managers.
Suggest stocking orders to meet branch goals.
Assist branches on bulk and equipment orders with specs, quotes, pricing.
Coordinate with regional management on SKU offerings and support.
Ensure rental inventory is maintained and available.
