Job summary

Tidy Services seeks a Fleet Support Specialist in Salem, VA to manage parts sourcing, inventory, and fleet data entry. The role involves coordinating with the Fleet Manager, Shop Foreman, and mechanics to keep parts flowing and records accurate.

Strong attention to detail and experience with Fleetio and Excel/Sheets are preferred. This on-site role provides benefits and opportunities for growth in purchasing and asset management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in parts, inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, or fleet administration preferred.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to learn Fleetio and other company software.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts requests from Fleet Manager, Shop Foreman, and mechanics and fulfill them with approved vendors.
• Research parts using VINs, serial numbers, part numbers, and vendor catalogs.
• Source parts, compare pricing, availability, shipping, and warranty coverage.
• Place approved orders and document vendor, part number, quantity, cost, and delivery details.
• Track orders, backorders, and vendor delays; follow up until delivery is received.
• Maintain accurate parts and inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
