Job summary

Tidy Services in Salem, VA is seeking a Fleet Support Specialist to manage parts sourcing, inventory, and fleet data. You will support mechanics by ensuring timely procurement, accurate recordkeeping, and productive collaboration with the Fleet Manager and Shop Foreman.

You will enter and track data in Fleetio, manage open orders and credits, and assist with routine fleet reporting. The role requires attention to detail, basic automotive parts awareness, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in parts, inventory, purchasing, warehousing, or fleet administration preferred.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to learn Fleetio and other company software.
• Experience with Excel/Sheets preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, ordering, and receiving parts; compare pricing, delivery times, and warranty coverage.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory in Fleetio and organize storage areas.
• Manage warranty claims, core returns, and credits with vendors and Shop Foreman.
• Enter and maintain work orders, invoices, and inventory records in Fleetio and other systems.
• Coordinate with Fleet Manager and Accounting on purchasing, vendor communication, and documentation.
• Prepare routine fleet reports and assist with data cleanup and recordkeeping.
