Job summary

Ada County in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Fleet Parts Specialist to coordinate daily parts operations for a diverse vehicle fleet, including purchasing, receiving, stocking, and issuing materials. You will work with technicians and vendors to ensure timely parts access and accurate records.

The role requires strong attention to detail, proven parts operations or purchasing experience, and proficiency with inventory software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess or obtain ASE P1 and P2 within one year of hire.
• Forklift training and operator qualification within two years.
• Experience in automotive or equipment parts operations and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily parts operations including purchasing, receiving, stocking, and issuing materials.
• Research correct parts using multiple resources and assist technicians.
• Monitor orders and resolve sourcing issues with delivery dates.
• Conduct inventory counts and maintain records.
• Ensure safety procedures and organized parts storage.
