Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking an experienced Parts Purchasing Agent for our Fleet team. You will order, track, and reconcile parts and materials for the fleet warehouse, supporting mechanics and safe operations.

Responsibilities include PO management, inventory coordination with Fleet Parts Associate, receiving parts, and using systems to track and report issues with vendor orders. You’ll work with fleet, yard, accounting, and vendors daily.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy truck or automotive parts.
• Current non-CDL driver’s license with clean record.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with parts warehouse workflow and processing.
• Knowledge of desktop computer applications and electronic PO systems.
• Preferred knowledge of construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchase orders and term requirements; liaise with AP to ensure timely payments.
• Collaborate with Fleet Parts Associate to maintain inventory levels.
• Manage receipt, receiving, and storage of parts orders from vendors.
• Use systems to track, report, close, and communicate PO issues.
• Interact with fleet, yard, accounting, and vendors regularly.
