Job summary

The State of Idaho's Division of Management Services seeks a detail-oriented Fleet Operations Technician to support statewide motor pool operations from Boise. This role will ensure availability, functionality, and accurate tracking of vehicles used across the state, primarily at the Boise Westgate office, with no telework.

Responsibilities include maintaining fleet data in Fleetio and Samsara, processing invoices, supporting the Motor Pool Manager, and coordinating with regional offices

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors.
• Interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies.
• Analyzing information and researching sources to resolve problems.
• Dealing with individuals from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds in stressful situations.
• Entering and retrieving data with a computerized records system.
• Composing and proofreading business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Verify, update, and maintain fleet data in Fleetio and Samsara.
• Review and process Motor Pool invoices and reconcile charges.
• Provide admin support to the Motor Pool Manager.
• Assist daily Motor Pool operations and respond to staff inquiries.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs with vendors and internal customers.
• Support fleet data integrity and cross-office communication.
