Kiely Family of Companies is seeking a Service Inventory Coordinator in New Jersey to manage fleet parts inventory, coordinate procurement, and ensure timely parts availability for vehicle and equipment repairs.

The role supports technicians and fleet leadership, maintains accurate records, and negotiates with vendors to optimize costs while ensuring efficiency and uptime across our service operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; 2–5 years in fleet maintenance or inventory control.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficient with Excel and fleet/inventory software.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inventory levels for fleet parts, tools, supplies, and consumables.
• Order, receive, inspect, and stock parts for vehicles, equipment, and shop operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the fleet maintenance management system.
• Research part availability, pricing, and lead times from vendors.
• Create and process purchase orders for parts and related maintenance materials.
• Coordinate parts returns, warranty claims, and vendor credits.
• Reconcile packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory usage and recommend stocking levels.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and annual physical inventories.
• Ensure the parts room and storage areas are organized and secure.
• Enter parts, labor, and maintenance data into the fleet system.
• Assist with tracking preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections.
• Coordinate warranty repairs and outside vendor service appointments.
• Assist with parts pickup/delivery as needed.
• Maintain vendor relationships and assist in pricing negotiations.
• Generate inventory, purchasing, and maintenance reports.
