Job summary

RATP Dev USA is seeking a dedicated Parts Manager to oversee inventory operations for TheBus fleet in Prince George's County, MD. This role supports maintenance teams to ensure fleet reliability, availability, and safe operations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years in inventory or fleet support, strong data accuracy, and experience in budgeting and supplier management. On-site position with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years in inventory or fleet support.
• Experience counting and reconciling stock to keep records accurate.
• Knowledge of basic cost calculations, budgeting, and tracking.
• Accurate data entry and meticulous record management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of parts and supplies and audit inventory regularly.
• Source, procure, and negotiate pricing with approved vendors.
• Oversee distribution of parts to maintenance staff and coordinate shipments.
• Develop and manage the department budget and control costs.
• Supervise parts department staff and provide training.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols.
• Prepare inventory, procurement, and budget reports for leadership.
• Train staff on RTA Fleet Management software and data entry.
