Transdev in Bel Air, MD is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the organization and profitability of the fleet’s parts department. The role interfaces with vendors, agencies, and customers to ensure safe, efficient asset support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive parts, strong communication, and proficiency with fleet management systems and MS Office. This onsite position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 5+ years in auto/construction equipment parts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with fleet management systems and MS Office.
• DOT physical exam and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Leads cost reduction initiatives and manages obsolete inventory.
• Designs and monitors cost-quality purchasing programs.
• Maintains an effective parts catalog system.
• Manages warranty claims and core exchange programs.
• Prepares and conducts quarterly physical inventories.
• Supervises parts staff and trains team as needed.
• Ensures security of parts facility and inventory.
• Supports operational staff with timely service.
