Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to provide essential administrative support for the maintenance function in Shelby, NC. The role includes managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining fleet records to ensure efficient operations.

You will input fleet information daily, work with vendors on orders and payments, and assist with reports and analyses to support fleet performance. A background in maintenance or trucking and at least 1 year of general office experience are

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or trucking environments.
• One year of general office experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts are available cost-effectively.
• Maintain fleet inventory records and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Enter fleet data into the computerized fleet management system daily.
• Process vendor orders and payments for goods and services.
• Prepare truck purchase orders and assign GL codes; use ePro for transactions.
• Receive, tag, stock and dispense parts to mechanics per policy and procedures.
• Review purchase orders with accounting for accuracy and payment.
• Produce productivity and usage reports for management review.
• Support the Fleet Manager with data analysis of fleet operations reports.
