Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to provide essential administrative support for the maintenance function and to help manage parts, records, and supplier transactions.

The role involves data entry into the fleet management system, coordinating parts and POs, and generating reports for management. A background in maintenance/trucking and at least one year in an office setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general office experience or equivalent training.
• Related experience in a maintenance/trucking environment.

Responsibilities

• Assures availability of parts in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintains fleet records on inventory levels and maintenance schedules.
• Inputs fleet information into the computerized fleet management system daily.
• Reconciles purchase orders with accounting to ensure accurate payments.
• Produces productivity and usage reports for management review.
• Supports Fleet Manager with data analysis of fleet operations.
