Ryder System, Inc. Newark, NJ is offering an Operations Management Trainee position in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will support the management process, assist in cost savings, customer retention, and metric-driven initiatives while rotating across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management. The program aims to develop an operations and fleet maintenance background, with a career path toward an Operations Supervisor.

Formación

• 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience.
• Strong PC knowledge/skills to include spreadsheet and word processing software packages.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality customer interface and proactive customer management.
• Coordinate with Rental department to maximize utilization.
• Partner with Sales on customer calls for new business and satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads; ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee PM scheduling, breakdowns and vehicle status updates; guide technician planning.
