Job summary

St. Mary’s Food Bank is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead and coordinate a diverse driver fleet, including Class A and B, across buses and trucks. You will ensure safety, compliance with DOT rules, and efficient delivery operations aligned with the nonprofit mission.

You will maintain DOT records, oversee vehicle maintenance, and manage scheduling, payroll documentation, and driver evaluations. The role requires leadership, organization, and strong communication within a nonprofit food

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• CDL and clean driving record required.
• Current DOT medical certification required.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/CDL requirements and record keeping.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills; planning and organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate SMFB drivers across the fleet, including Class A/B drivers.
• Maintain DOT records and logs; stay updated on regulations to ensure compliance.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance to meet safety, fueling, DOT, and appearance standards.
• Schedule staff and temp help; manage payroll documents.
• Conduct driver evaluations and participate in hiring; handle fleet paperwork.
