Job summary

Precision Group is seeking a Fleet Assistant in Hobbs, NM to support daily fleet operations, ensure vehicles are maintained, compliant, and ready for use.

You will schedule maintenance, keep accurate records, track fuel and costs, and coordinate vehicle assignments with drivers.

Strong organizational skills and basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance are preferred; proficiency with MS Office or fleet software will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills are essential.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or fleet management software is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records (registrations, insurance, inspections, mileage logs).
• Track fuel usage and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate vehicle assignments and monitor availability.
• Communicate with drivers regarding vehicle issues and safety requirements.
• Support fleet manager with reports and administrative tasks.
• Help manage vendor relationships for repairs and services.
