Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Fleet to oversee all aspects of fleet maintenance and to foster a culture built on safety, service, and cost efficiency across the fleet.

You will lead technicians, manage certifications, budgets, and supplier bids, and partner with drivers to ensure reliable operations. The role requires strong leadership, DOT/Hazmat/OSHA knowledge, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fleet equipment experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Valid state driver’s license; DOT, Hazmat, and OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of fleet maintenance and safety.
• Hire, train, and evaluate fleet technicians.
• Manage purchasing, warranties, and parts inventory.
• Ensure vehicles meet service recommendations and certifications.
• Budget planning and cost control.
• Prepare periodic performance and safety reports.
