Job summary

The City of Englewood is seeking a Fleet Services Supervisor within the Public Works Department to organize and oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management. You will ensure compliance with state and city requirements while coordinating with intergovernmental partners.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of General Services, you will lead Fleet Technicians and related staff, implement preventative maintenance, manage budgets, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years’ increasingly responsible experience in the automotive industry.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of fleet management principles and practices.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review the work of staff responsible for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Work with intergovernmental partners for vehicle maintenance agreements and updates.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong vehicle lifespans.
• Develop maintenance programs and monitor compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures for the division.
