Job summary

The Citrus County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Fleet Process Coordinator to streamline operations in the Fleet Services Division. You will oversee procurement, maintenance, inventory, and deployment processes to keep the fleet ready and compliant with agency standards.

Key duties include budgeting support, maintaining vehicle records, and coordinating with deputies and vendors to schedule services and track work orders in a maintenance asset system.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and three years’ experience in fleet coordination, automotive service, or logistics.
Associate’s degree in business, logistics, or automotive technology preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee procurement within fleet maintenance and ensure budget alignment.
Forecast vehicle and equipment needs to support annual planning.
Maintain vehicle databases with mileage, fuel, service history and cost data.
Monitor vehicle status, timelines, and readiness for deployment.
Coordinate preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Serve as liaison between Fleet Services, deputies, and vendors.
