Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Bulls Gap, TN, is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our private fleet servicing customers. This onsite role ensures vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively across multiple locations and business units.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year business-related degree (or equivalent), 2+ years managing DOT-regulated drivers, and strong organizational skills with proficient Microsoft Office use. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year degree in business or related field or equivalent in experience, training, or education.
• 2+ years managing DOT-regulated drivers and scheduling transportation.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good verbal & written communications skills.
• Job requires up to 25% travel.
• Ability to prioritize work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of private fleet servicing customers.
• Supervise drivers and ensure DOT compliance and company policies.
• Make hiring decisions, manage performance, provide coaching, and issue discipline for drivers.
• Audit driver logs for hours-of-service compliance.
• Liaise on insurance claims and lease vehicle decisions.
• Conduct quarterly driver training and meetings.
• Provide KPI reporting to management.
• Collaborate with site locations to refine fleet processes.
