Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is hiring a Transportation Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics across locations, including private fleet and hired haul operations. You will lead a team of coordinators, fleet managers, and drivers while driving on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes strategy, compliance with DOT regulations, and continuous improvement to service levels. Onsite duties are based at our Morristown, TN location, with potential travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in transportation or related field; experience with transportation management software systems.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel and Tableau skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic logistics plans for multiple locations.
• Lead a team of logistics coordinators, fleet managers, and drivers; ensure DOT compliance.
• Hire, coach, and manage performance within the transportation team.
