Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is onsite at Bulls Gap, TN, seeking a Transport/Fleet Supervisor to manage DOT-regulated drivers and scheduling while ensuring safety and compliance. The role includes coaching drivers, enforcing policy, and maintaining regulatory records to support efficient fleet operations.

Ideal candidates will have at least a two-year business-related degree and 2+ years of DOT-Driver management experience, with strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year degree in business or related field or equivalent in experience, training, or education.
• 2+ years managing DOT-regulated drivers and scheduling transportation preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations required.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work activities and deliveries.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Good verbal & written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Support targeted transportation initiatives and projects as directed.
• Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Make hiring decisions, manage performance, provide coaching, and issue discipline for drivers.
• Maintain driver qualification files and audit logs for hours-of-service compliance.
• Oversee maintenance program and incident review for fleet vehicles.
• Provide reporting on KPI metrics to management.
• Collaborate with scheduling department and site locations to improve fleet productivity.
